Dress code 


PPE should be worn in the lab in order to protect themselves from various hazards , as well as basic rules to follow to avoid any sort of contamination.

SAFETY RULES IN HISTOPATHOLOGY LAB 



Wear PPE or proper lab attire
Open-toed shoes are not allowed.
Avoid wearing contact lenses.
Wash your hands frequently.
Confine long hair and lose clothing.
Never wear shorts or skirts.
Do not eat smoke or drink in the lab.
Always wear a white coat to prevent contact with dirt and minor chemical splashes.
Make sure you know the hazards listed in a method sheet before carrying out any methods.

MSDS 

A material safety data sheet is a document that contains information on the potential hazards and how to work safely with chemical products.

Purpose of the MSDS 

The material data sheet is used as an informational source about hazards to gather advice on safety precautions.
